Want to achieve something? Start with "HOPE"

Want to achieve something? Start with "HOPE"

Are there any among us who have never felt sad or fail? Feeling something that we want are not going to happen? Feeling something we really want to accomplish feels very far away? Or more bad again, feeling desperate and lost direction? Feel everything we do may not be useful. Felt that after we give everything, the results we hoped for did not like the reality. If we all did, then we all need hope.
In general, simple expectation is a belief (perception) that a goal can be achieved, whether it's dreams, ideals, happiness or love. In Snyder (2002) mentioned that hope has three elements; goals (objectives), pathways (ways to achieve goals), and agency thoughts. Agency motivational thoughts are elements of hope; where a person believes that the existing road he will be able to travel, that he has all it takes to be on the path toward his dream.
All elements of the expectations to some extent determined by what someone go through in life. In Snyder (2002) explained that the development of a credible expectation occurred very early in the period of life, ie when the baby realizes that he is a stand-alone entity, standing apart even from those who nurture him (psychological birth). This brings the child to the realization that he can affect the surroundings, that what he does can affect what they get (eg: with tears, then the food will come). This implies that what has happened since the early days of a person's life, success and failure in achieving its objectives, will affect the level of expectation he had when he was an adult.
What causes the need for someone to have a high level of expectation? Aside from something very clear: such a positive feeling that is felt, apparently based on various studies in Eliott (2005) explained that the level of expectation has relationships with various psychological and physiological benefits, like academic achievement, sporting achievement, physical health and psychological health. Therefore, there is no doubt that the hope is one thing that is good for is owned by humans.
Want to achieve something? Start with "HOPE"

Is there any among us who have never felt sad or fail? Feeling something that we want are not going to happen? Feeling something we really want to accomplish feels very far away? Or worse, get frustrated and lose their way? Feel everything we do may not be useful. Felt that after we give everything, the results we hoped for did not like the reality. If we all did, then we all need hope.
In general, simple expectation is a belief (perception) that a goal can be achieved, whether it's dreams, ideals, happiness or love. This brings the child to the realization that he can affect the surroundings, that what he does can affect what they get (eg: with tears, then the food will come). This implies that what has happened since the early days of a person's life, success and failure in achieving its objectives, will influence the level of expectation he had when he was an adult.
What causes the need for someone to have a high level of expectations? Apart from the obvious things, like the positive feeling that is felt, apparently based on a variety of research in Eliott (2005) explained that the level of expectation has relationships with various psychological and physiological benefits, such as academic achievement, sporting achievement, physical health and psychological health. Therefore, there is no doubt that the hope is one thing that is good for is owned by humans.
Because hope has three interrelated elements and influenced each other, all attempts to increase someone's expectations can be explained based on the element - that element. Research on the attributes of people with a high level of expectation can also be used as a foothold to raise the expectation level of a person. Following are some ways that can be done;
Break large goals or far into smaller goals are easier to achieve.
In Seligman's (2000) mentioned that people with high levels of expectation that they usually break down large goals into the goals smaller. Achieving goals can provide feedback on elements from the expectation that ultimately determines the level of expectation someone. Every goal that is achieved can improve someone's expectations. Making a big goal into goals - small goals more easily achieved would be more likely to be able to provide even greater positive feedback on the level of someone's expectations.
Have not only one purpose, but some goals in life
People with high levels of expectations are usually able to receive a replacement purposes if the original purpose was not likely to be achieved and it also usually has some purpose in his life, not just one. When a goal is already impossible to achieve, would the existence of other goals or success of other goals will certainly give positive feedback on the level of expectations held by someone.
Find as many alternative ways to achieve goals
In Snyder (2002) mentioned that people with high levels of expectation that usually has various alternatives to achieve their goals. This is caused when they experienced a possible permanent barriers in the way they choose, they will easily take another path and maintain the level of expectations held. This can be done with as many seeking information about various ways to achieve our goals.
Respect the process, not just results
In Morrow (Big and Small Hope) mentioned that people with high level of expectation usually appreciate the process of achieving goals, as they appreciate the results. This causes the existence of positive feedback, not only when their goal is achieved, even when they are in the process of achieving goals.
Find a satisfactory explanation when there is resistance or failure
In Seligman's (2000) mentioned that people with high level of expectations not experience negative emotions when they have problems in achieving the goal; they are usually able to provide a satisfactory explanation for himself when a goal is not achieved.
Get support from the social environment
In Synder (2002) People with a high level of expectation usually obtain social support when they experience failure, so they can get positive feedback or an alternative way to achieve their goals. Social support is also possible to help find another destination if the desired goal had been unattainable.
say "I Can"
In Seligman's (2000) mentioned that someone who has a high level of expectation usually have "inner-voice" who always voiced "I must get through this."
Miracles really happen
They just do not happen too often
Sometimes to get a miracle
What is needed is hope, keep trying and do not despair
If all these efforts seem always fail
Believe me, maybe what should be done is find a way swivel
